its probably just not happy anymore. you need to do what makes your turbo happy... just like the little VW Fast guy says

yeah no ---- read up top i have a t3 .48/.60 waiting to go in i just moved and need to get my ---- together. i was just curious if this had happened to anyone else thats all

Mabe you overspun the turbo and cooked a little of the bearings in it? Now you have like .00000001 more clearnace in the center of the turbo, so it sounds a little different.

(dont qoute me) iv been told the whistle is the turbo vibrating when it spools at higher rpm, maybe just maybe something happend and it got perfectaly balnced and now it bearly vibrates
