Whoever says the 1.8 is shitty tear it down, now look at a tore down 4g63

You bet your *** they are I used to own one, has 6bolt 4G63 sized rods, the only set back on em is the pistons (get ross's)and the head damn 8 valve, but nothin some portwork can take care of, and a delta 272 regrind , 2.02 Intake valves ,go for the custom mani man, 60-1, 390's off the auto dsm the 1.8 ecu will control them, safc, and ahhemmm..... you ---- on some boosted hondas

14.1@101 with my old 1.8 bottle fed dsm you just gotta get creative man.

just use the 390's and a vafc. Pretty stout motors imho. Just upgrade rods. Either use stock 4g63 rods or better. Throw some boost at it, and see how it works.
