whats up everyone heres my problem i hear my turbo spool i get a boost reading on my boost gauge but the car just isnt responding im running safc2 with 450 cc injectors ,an rhb5 turbo,starion intercooler ,1st gen dsm b.o.v ,msd btm set at .5 and msd external coil,sparkplugs gapped at 0.30,i have so far checked b.o.v ran with out it and samething,i heard the wastegate flutter so its working,i tried running the wastegate hooked up to the intake manifold because it wasnt hitting boost past 3 or 4 pounds at first now thats ok i hit around 8psi today but it just dosent feel like its boosted it kind of bogs out no power at all, i have messed with my afc setting leaning them and riching them still no sucess i have 180 across all 4 cylinders compression check,oh the motor is a dohc zc in a 90 crx si with a pg7 ecu, i have gone over the charge pipes all are tight thanks everyone for your help

 

still sounds like a boost leak.

either that or the wastegate is opening at 3-4psi, which is all you said its boosting i believe.

 

If your boost gauge isn't lying to you, then you certainly have positive pressure. Are you using anything to monitor your A/F ratio? If you don't have the right A/F ratio, the car won't be any faster even though you have boost pressure. By boosting 8psi and having the engine bog down and lose power, it seems like an A/F problem. I would be careful when driving around like this - you might cause damage to the engine if you're leaning out.

 

Probably a leak after the turbo.
