I will be turboing my 99 2.3I. I was originally going t3 since i dont really need much boost but it seems i need to go bigger. Is there a big enough turbo i can get off a stock car? If so what is it, if not is T3/T4 my best bet? Prolly with specs of .48/.62, i think that is right not sure though.

thanx a lot shortyz I am more familiar with smaller factory turbos. The t-bird one sounds great any idea what psi it runs stock on the T-bird?

Is .60/ .63 too big? It seems they are internally wastegated at 10psi which i am sure is too much boost for my car. Are internal wastegate springs easy to modify?

u can mod the actuator so u can run like 7psi i believe.

u thread the actuator rod and put a nut on it..

i gotta find a topic about that to post on the newbie thread. someone help me find it!

also u can bent the actuator rod. i know on a t25 u bend it .25 inches it puts out 6psi..

Thx for the help i think i am gonna follow Jeff's advice but prolly just mess with the spring and keep testing it with a air pump unitl it lets off at like 7psi.
