its ok. Im still trying to understand that diagram, at first impression i thought it was suppose to be a big wastegate.

I see now that the wastegate has a line going to IM? and then theres a MBC T'ing off from that and the other end of it going to top port of wastegate?

Is that just one way to do it?

The article I read had a T from the BoV, any reason they would take it from BoV rather than just t both from wastegate?

Top and side port of wastegate vs one from BoV and one going to side port

Re: Turbo setup done- no boost? *WITH PIX NOW*

I tried the whole diagram setup, didnt work got spikes went from 4 psi to 10 psi in a second. Tried just having the line going from SIDE port of wastegate to turbo and cutting it in half and connecting each to a side of the MBC controller. Just got stock boost levels even after tightening the screw very much.

I tried a couple other misc ways like just plugging side of MBC port and the other going to a T coming out of the side port of the wastegate and such, none worked.

Logically you think it would work just going inbetween wastegate line because its "hiding" boost so the spring compresses later but it didnt.

So im gonna try what the article that showed me how to make the boost controller in the first place said where I 'T' off from BoV line and the other goes to the wastegate. Im just not sure if its going to the top port or side port, it just says wastegate actuator, ill try both =)

um right here you tightened it very much? no wonder you got stock boost levels, try loosening it so it can bleed off air

Well I never tried the original installation how it was intended to be according to the article I built it by. If I used anything different, the spring is a tiny bit different in size but the ball bearing is same size and its not off by much at all. Ill try originally how i thought itd be and we'll see.

You said to try loosening but the way i had it setup the air would go through one port and i thought by TIGHTENING it it would be harder for the air to travel to the wastegate to tell the spring "go down!"
