I've got a friend who has a T3 unk trim at this time. He says he is buying a new one because the seals in this one are not holding well to his high boost. I think he's running 20psi or something... hell I don't know. And I don't know a whole lot about turbos... If I could get this off of him for cheap do you think the seals would be good at a lower psi like 5PSI?
This is probably one of the stupidest ------- questions you've ever heard but I NEED TO KNOW.

by the seals you are taking about the oil seals of the center section right? If so...its leaking becuase of the oil pressure the engine is generating. He should get an oil restrictor/rebuild the turbo. If the seals re ------- up on him...i think that even with ur 5psi it will still leak. If he is running 20psi efficiently it must be a good sized turbo. you might want to go with a smaller turbo since it will still run the 5psi and u wont get that much lag.

 

Yeah I decided to just go with a straight T3 .45 trim. HIs is a T3/T4 cant remember the trim. Either way too big.
