Re:turbo project done
thanks a lot guys.
I'm really happy to have done that myself. |
Re:turbo project done
what size turbo you running? I don't think you mentioned it. Very nice job though! ;)

Re:turbo project done
Very nice job!
The only thing bad I would have to say, is that I bet it was a bitch to get that 5 lbs of turbo stuff in a 4 lb bag.. That fits in there tight, like it came like that from the factory.. Props for your work! |
Re:turbo project done
Looks nice man.
you should take that shop to coart. Or brake some of there cars or windows ... for real. The intercooler looks hot. what was the first one?? Looks like a JB-welded intercooler....looks like my currente intercooler...well e little bit ;D |
Re:turbo project done
civicsi1990, what did you use to tap the oil feed line. I see that half of it is the oil line that came with the turbo, but how did you connect the other half? Is it just high pressure rubber line clamped on there?
I have the same IHI and was going to use the original line and double flare the line to connect to my oil tee, but the line is too hard to flare. |
Re:turbo project done
Thanks guys,
for the oil line, it was on the first project and i take cupper hose with a plumbing fitting. On the other, i take a high pressure hose. |
Re:turbo project done
gonna have my WB in 2 week. So i will raise it to 8psi ;D
|
Re:turbo project done
why not turn the turbo around so you dont have to have a charge pipe almost touching the manifold?
|
Re:turbo project done
because if i turn it, the turbo arrive directly in the radiator.
Next summer i go on the dyno to tune it at 9 or 10 psi. |
