Are you trying to completely take it apart then? obviously when you start taking the bolts loose on the exhaust housing they run into the center section and they wont go any further, (loosen all the bolts to this point. Then smack with a rubber mallet the backside of the compressor housing to brake the center section seal loose. Sometimes it takes some serious wacking ;) hah, I usually do this in a vise because it can be a bitch. Once the housing is broke free you should be able to slowly get the bolts free. Once you get all the bolts off, its time to get the compressor housing off. To take the compressor housing off, you need to use large snap ring plyers to get that big ass snap ring out of the housing, otherwise its going nowhere. I would recommend using Tons of WD40 or lubricant when doing any of this. Lube is your friend. :)

Well thats how it comes apart, I cannot he-man that snap ring off for you over the computer. Just keep working on it and it will come off.

Re:turbo positioning

There shouldnt be any bolts on the compressor side, unless they bolt to the backing plate of the center section, and No. you dont take those off. It should be 1 big snap ring and that whole compressor housing will come loose.

Take some pics man

Re:turbo positioning

Big snap ring plyers, lots of WD40 soaking everywhere around the ring. I also like to use a screw driver and a hammer and sometimes punch the ring a few times, this will break the seal a bit.
