turbo positioning
i have a T25 out of a silvia (jdm...duh) the part that i hook up the charge piping to and the part that i bolt up to the exaust manifold are facing the same way.
i saw in one How-to that i need to loosen the bolts and turn it. but i havnt seen that anywhere else plus then the wastegate actuator probably woulnt work. anyone know what to do?
heres a bad picture of what im talking about. the thing circled with the #4 is the wastgate thing that is bolted on to the turbo.
any help is appreciated, thanks.

Re:turbo positioning
you're gonna have to make a custom bracket for your wastegate in order to mount it in the compressor housings' new position. i had to do the same thing. a welder friend of mine made the bracket, took him 5 minutes.

Re:turbo positioning
The compressor housing should be held on with a large snap ring, not any bolts, and if you need to rotate it, you will need to relocate the wastegate and how it mounts on the compressor housing. Most t25's you can just drill and tap new holes in the housing.

Re:turbo positioning
Do you have any more pics of the turbo, it maybe a normal style turbo that unbolts from the exhaust housing and compressor housing. But if I recall the T25 unbolts from the exhaust housing and has a snap ring on the compressor housing similar to the TD05 14b.

ok i see the snap ring, the bolts i was trying to undo where the ones on the exaust side. do i have to loosen it or something? i have everything for the wastegate undone but nothing will budge. im assuming i need to push the two ends of that thing away from each other but ill wait for a reply since i dont want to break anything. oh, and i have no good pictures right now but thanks for all the help
