Default turbo oil in/out question

To answer the question you will ask after reading this, Yes, I am a moron
Does a turbo have a set inlet and outlet for oil, meaning the 2 are not interchangable. I've been studying mine and it seems to not matter, but I'm just trying to make sure
Thanks
Mike

no they are not interchangable. the oil inlet is small and designed for high pressure, to push the oil into the bearing casings. while the oil outlet is very big to allow for high flow and drainge. because the turbo is gravity drained.

watch out for your oil pan tap. Make sure that your oil pan tap for your oil return is about the same as the oil return nipple. Otherwise it will shoot oil out both sides of the turbo.
