Default Turbo mounting issues! Help! (attn:Stealthmode!)

i finally got my turbo in the mail and tried to bolt it to my manifold, but the bolts aren't long enough! On my manifold, there are 4 bolts that are welded to the manifold itself. when i put my turbo on, without gasket or lockwashers, only 2 threads are left! once i put on the gasket and washers, none will be showing at all ....anybody know how i can extend the bolts or something? the only thing i can think of is to shave down the exhaust housing to fit the nut and wahser, but i'm a putz with that kinda stuff and figured it wouldnt be a good idea.

oh and stealth, check your pm's!

Sorry bout shitty pics, Can't find my digi.

or you could take it to the machine shop and have them shave it off just like a head.Make sure it comes out even so you wont have any sealing problems.

maybe get longer bolts from a bolt/nut shop? then drill out/grind the old bolts that are welded in and replace with your new bolts? seems to me that would be the easiest thing to do.

yeah, the size of the flange on my old garrett t3/t4 was about half that size....so you guys dont think grinding it down about 1/2 to 3/4 inches will ---- with the durability of the seal? coz man, the thing is like 2 standard flanges stacked together!
