Turbo mounting issues! Help! (attn:Stealthmode!)
i finally got my turbo in the mail and tried to bolt it to my manifold, but the bolts aren't long enough! On my manifold, there are 4 bolts that are welded to the manifold itself. when i put my turbo on, without gasket or lockwashers, only 2 threads are left! once i put on the gasket and washers, none will be showing at all
....anybody know how i can extend the bolts or something? the only thing i can think of is to shave down the exhaust housing to fit the nut and wahser, but i'm a putz with that kinda stuff and figured it wouldnt be a good idea.
oh and stealth, check your pm's!

Sorry bout shitty pics, Can't find my digi.

yeah, the size of the flange on my old garrett t3/t4 was about half that size....so you guys dont think grinding it down about 1/2 to 3/4 inches will ---- with the durability of the seal? coz man, the thing is like 2 standard flanges stacked together!
Why the ---- is it so thick?
