Default turbo for gmc sonoma?

my buddy wants to put a turbo on his sonoma, its a 2000 with the ( i think) 2.4 litre 4 banger, wondering if this is even possible?

Anything is possible. You'll need to have a person that is good at fab work with the tools on hand, or be ready to cough up lots of money.

I think that they make a kif for the 2.4, of course it is a lot of money.

The principles of adding a turbo to every car is essentially the same. Manifold, charge pipes, turbo, Intercooler, fuel management.

The limiting factor is really the Fuel management for most cars. Get that figured out and you can do it.

run a standalone like megasquirt and im sure you would be set. but the next question is how much horsepower can your motor handle before it goes?

cool thanks guys, i don't know much about chevy stuff other than older carb engines, i'll do some reading on megasquirt because thats what i was worried about is management, thanks!!!
