Default 1991 gmc jimmy trouble..

i didnt want to post this.. but im fed up.. i tried everything...

i bought a 1991 gmc jimmy with 2240 miles.. been sittin all its life.. and i paid too much for it..

long story short.. i changed the gas tank, fuel pump. and one of the injectors, oil change.. tranny flush.. and had to change the radiator and the exhaust..

now i got it running.. and when you drive it, it drives ok, but it idles like ----.. this thing shakes so ------- hard, as if its bout to turn off.. but it never does...

and it only does that when its in park.. when you hit the brakes and put it into drive.. it doesnt shake.. when you hit the brakes and put it in reverse it does the same thing it does in park.. any suggestions as to what this might me?

i drove it hard arround the block after slowly breaking it in.. and never got a check engine light..

also, a bunch of ---- in the damn dash doesnt work.. speedo doesnt work, neither does the trip meter or the autometer

neither does the ac/heat no fan movement at all..

but the fuel guage works right. dash lights work..

could it be rusted up or something?

anyone have expierience taking out a dash on an s10?

she's pretty... but all thease small things that are fucked up are getting annoying...

*edit* forgot to add.. its a 4.3 liter v6 throttle body injected.. and i smell alot of gas arround her when she purrs..

as for the electrical probs, youre gonna be trying to fix those forever in that vehicle. If i were you, id change your plugs/cap/rotor then get down to seriously 2 gal of gas in your tank, then run a big bottle of chevron techron injector cleaner, the shaking might go away. now you must turbo it, no excuses.

if it smells really rich at idle i would start off by checking and make sure the Map is hooked up right then check Fuel Pressure.
