D15B1 Block
D16Z6 head (milled flat, cleaned, new valve seals)
D16Z6 intake manifold
B16A SiRI 58mm throttle body
AEM fuel rail
B&M command flo fuel pressure regulator and gauge
DSM 450cc injectors
TurboEDIT tuned ECU with MAX233 datalogger capability
T3 .42/.48 oil cooled turbo
STD manifold
BMC racing CNC machined adapter plate
Stealthmode stainless steel oil line kit
StreetImports 12x9x3 front mount intercooler
Powerup Venom Pro Type-I BOV
Powerup Manual Boost Controller
Apex-i SAFC
Autometer boost, oil temp, air/fuel gauges with A pillar pod
2.5" downpipe
2.5" testpipe
2.5" straight exhaust
2.25" & 2.5" charge piping

Just thought i'd share and let everyone know how my project is doing. I hope to be in the low 14s on street tires and high 13s with slicks, but only time will tell. Lots of tuning perhaps.....

how many psi you hoping to push?

im going for 8psi daily with occasional 10psi runs at the track or a race

Didnt see anything about a new fuel pump. Definetly a must

i like that intercooler. it looks tiny, yet very effective!!!

a new fuel pump a must? i've never heard anything about this..my boosted friends never have a problem with the stock DX fuel pump

stock fuel pump is fine w/ TE. its only a must w/ AFC or an FMU.....

Nice stuff, say bye bye to your bumper support

can you explain this to me bigwig.. why a TE tuned ECU doesnt need a fuel pump but an AFC hack does?

the ECU ROM basically does what the AFC does, only its coded into a chip instead of in the AFC unit. they are still controlling 450cc injectors and delivering the same amount of fuel...

.. actually, I dont get it wy you need to replace stock pump even for AFC? I mean... you don't push any more pressure to injectors.. and even 440's wont use so much gas that standard pump would fail?!

Bigwig is mistaken, you don't need a fuel pump. Maybe it's one of those "it'd be better issues" but you don't "need" it.

yah you only really need a pump when using the FMU, AFC and TE dont need a new pump until you start getting into serious HP #'s

Get a fuel pump. Trust me, using your DX fuel pump is fine with a stock DX Civic. Using your DX fuel pump with 450CC injectors under boost is NOT fine. Your pump is not big enough to flow the volume that injectors require. They will taper fuel flow at higher RPM's, which we all know is bad. Lack of fuel make motor go boom. On my 93 LS Integra I was using Prelude 345CC injectors and had to get a 340lph fuel pump just so I could run 8psi safely. Don't skimp on fuel. Pumps are easy to install and are not that expensive. And you'll definatly notice a difference.

I dont trust AFC b/c its manipulating the ECU rather than actually "reprogramming it". So i think w/ an AFC and 8psi+ you should run a fuel pump.....mainly b/c most people with AFCs are willing to plug in very generic settings and probably will run rich and push the fuel pump harder so i always suggest a new fuel pump

With TE/Uberdata you are saying exactly how much fuel you want in the units the ECU uses so its more exacting thus the reason you dont necessarily need a fuel pump.

But you are all correct in saying that with AFC you dont need a fuel pump. I just think its a good idea with an AFC...
