only the silvias come turboed which are only in japan. they have the SR20DET teh "T" standing for turbo. if you turbo a DA24DE it would be called a KA24DET

I have this on my list of cars to do a kit for. Where are you located and would your friend be interested in letting me use his car for a guinea pig? I could give him a realy good price on the finished kit.
As far as fuel goes the Nissan guys have it hard, they use the weird side feed injectors so you can't swap in a set of 450 DSMs. You can use Infinity Q45 or 300ZX TT injectors and a V-AFC.

WOW I hope whomever is turbocharging a 240 does more research. A missing link The 240sx has a MAF sensor, no need for a missing link...you couldnt use it. go to www.realnissan.com for a kit for the 240. And if you dont want akit, you can always get a manifold from them. Depending on what you have SOHC or DOHC you can jack injectors from other cars. Like the SOHC can take injectors from the CA18DET (which is the motor that came in early Silvia's in Japan, the US got the CA18ET in the 200sx). Turboing a 240sx is no different than a Honda. And whomever said fuel stuff is harder on a Nissan is SADLY mistaken. If you want some good info go to www.nissaninfiniticlub.net. They have a dedicated section to KA24ET and KA24DET. There are quite a few turboed KA's over there

well. in the US the 200sx is a FWD car, also known as a sentra, which comes with an SR20DE non-turbo, same engine that comes in the G20 from Infiniti. There are no FWD or RWD DETs in the US, unless you bring in the Bluebirds for the FWDs or the Silvias for the RWDs.

My friend Angel has a turbo'd 240, do it right the first time, dont do his mistakes, and for the ECU, always always ALWAYS go Jim Wolf, always!!!!
