Hey all, I just bought a GT2871R for my car and my GF wants me to hand down my old turbo to her so she can build a turbo kit. Does anybody know of anyone that has done this with a maxima I am just looking for pointers and possible places to locate parts such as a manifold. I was also wondering if the stock fuel system will support a lightly boosted maxima and things of this nature. Any help is appreciated.

 

you're gonna have to have a custom made manifold for that and no the stock fuel system won't support any boost at all. you're gonna have to go with mega squirt or atleast an fmu if you're staying below 7psi.

 

i believe there is a site called www.turbomaxima.org or something like that there are lots of turbo maximas out there, depending on if its the V6 or 4 cylinder it has its pros and cons when it comes to installing and setting it up.

i did an altima and it was fairly easy and was very kwik for the low boost it was pushing
