hey buddies. these are pictures of my brothers recently fabricated turbo kit for a 91 maxima. without a doubt the most thought out kit on a maxima to date (or so the guys on maxima.org say). he even ran the car at gingerman raceway (roadcourse) on the 4th at the wmhm5, and it did great. for such a large sedan, it handles/brakes/accelerates great. awesome car to begin with..

its a HUGE turbo (t04b), spools great on his engine. he will be upgrading the compressor housing next year most likely, but he's not sure. he's running 5 psi right now, and it pulls really well. was a high 15 second car NA w/bolt ons. (sohc engine, not dohc)
he's ran the car for about 1500 miles so far, and its PERFECT. oh, and the oil drain line is about 2 feet long, so dont ask if the oil backs up into the turbo due to the "uphill" fitting at the pan...its fine. (everybody says something....but its all good) no dyno numbers yet, but we'll have some soon. these engines are basically factory turbo engines, only nissan forgot the turbo (engine is a old 300zx sohc basically)

he is tuning with a wideband, chipped ECU, romulator and LIVEedit.. running custom venom 550cc injectors, and a walbro 255lph pump.

its a 91 maxima 5 speed w/ a vg30DE in it (stock engine)

has a 3'' exhaust, fidanza flywheel, and a centerforce clutch for now (will most likely need to be upgraded soon)
