Re: Turbo celica Prawrject. update
Listen I have a very simple solution to your engine management problems use 3sgte injectors along with the AFM trick to scale them back. Ok here is how you do it first you must locate the afm its that square metal box in your intake incase you didnt know, second you must remove the black plastic lid on top of the afm, before you go adjusting it, it is a good idea to mark the position of the hold down clamp on the gear wheel this enables you to return it to its stock location.(I used a pen to mark it) Next, loosen the hold down screw then you are able to move the gear you turn it to the right to lean the mixture you would only want to do this after you have installed the 3sgte injectors. After you are done be sure to reseal the black plastic window because moisture will kill the electronics in the AFM. Basically what you have done is made an afc for FREE. Yes its pretty crude but better than an FMU.

Re: Turbo celica Prawrject. update
the pictures are kindove deceiving on how much room there is. i dont think i could fit a turbo in there and not have a big hole burned in my hood in a couple of days. or have my starter work after a good run on it.
so now ive got some ---- for sale. supra ct26, alittle chip on one fan blade, normal shaft play. didint appear to have any bad oil seals, comes with oem metal lines so you can fab some ---- out of that. the turbo will come with the stock wastegate and elbo if you want the elbo. the turbos already clocked so you'll need to make an l bracket for the wastegate. or figure something out for it 140 plus shipping
3sgte exaust manifold. good for any s series motor as long as you dont have an issue with it hitting the starter like mine
45 plus shipping
autometer boost gauge, has a black rim, its the z style one, black face, white and black letters the rim is alittle scratched up. nothing alittle bit of flat black paint cant fix. 37 shipped.

id finish it if the turbo and everything fit. but theres no way in hell i could fit a turbo in there without buying a whole lot of custom ---- that wouldnt even be worth doing to this car. And ive honestly done so much work to this car Im sick of looking at it.

Re: Turbo celica Prawrject. update
Ever worked on one of those Celicas? The ones that came turbo are a tiiiight fit.
FYI, good luck finding a nice CRX for less than a lot of money.
What I'd do is find a $300 beater ride, and then scouring HT for one of the gutted drag chassis they have for sale. $1000 seems to buy 1 piece fiberglass front end (a careful hand will allow you to cut the 'glass neatly to fit headlights), fiberglass doors, a cage, and a straight body. With a little thrifty wrecked Civic/Integra shopping out of the local paper you have a drivetrain for it, you know the HMT turbo way of finding turbo parts, and where you want to take the cosmetics is really up to you. You could have a pretty nice, painted, serious minded street/drag chassis in the $3000 total range with room for more power on down the road depending on money/interest. The fact you won't die, due to the cage, when an SUV comes left of center and hits you at 25 mph is a nice feature... and I'm not kidding about that; the low slung hood is a ramp to an SUV, the windshield area is right at/above bumper height, it folds in on you like tissue paper.
You're a bright guy, but your first Honduh it would probably be adviseable to start with something that is running, or if it isn't the reason why is obvious (blown engine). That way you aren't stuck with a bunch of unfamiliar shizzle you don't know the ins and outs of yet. But... for me to go back and do it right the first time... *sigh*
