hey hmt i just realized i messed up on my last thread and i dont know how to edit it so here we go again.. I have a ebay t3t4 50 trim turbo and i was wondering how many lbs of boost do you guys think it will take for about 275-300whp.. and also how much more effictive is a fmic over a smic? Please help hmt!!

 

the rule of thumb with boost is for every pound of boost the engine will produce 10 extra hp. use this to determine how much boost you will need to meet your goal over stock hp. if stock hp is 150 then you will need ~12-15 psi boost to generate 270-300hp. fmic are much more efficient as there bigger. side mount intercoolers are usually what mfg's use because of low boost and space requirements. trying to get a side mount to work on your vehicle requires a lot of fab work or custom building them to your vehicle. not worth it.
