I should have said the first fully megasquirt'd turbo banshee to actually run AND make boost.
Besides.... WTF are you doing? When are you gunna finish that ---- up. I seen a couple old pics of you new banshee on some older posts. NICE! When you gunna quit that N/A crap and come back to makin' some real #'s?
You should have been done 2 years ago. Holla back!

Lol bro, if you have to hold the compressor wheel from spinning, its not finished. I definitely had the first running Megasquirted Banshee and since there are tons of turbo Banshee's its not a first there for anything. And you should know your roll since you did just copy 85% of my work son.

I wouldn't know.... U never posted any pics besides the VERY little you had done that was on your website. 85%.... doughtful....If that was the case then I'd still be on 1st base. Since I'm about 85% passed were u got before you quit on it all together. I'd say your heads about 85% too big to mention. As you said..."plenty of turbo banshee's out there".... But I still haven't found one that looks anything like my "perticular" set-up. How many ways are there to skin the same cat oh father of the homemade 1/2 done turbo banshee? Did you even get to ride yours? When the time comes I'll still be the ONLY megasquirted turbo banshee out there. Not that I give a ---- about the bragging rights since I live in a shitty little town on the edge of north buttfuck new york. But the streets are safe for the time being. The oil pump situation has been remedy'd and finally I can run the bike as I wish without worrying about throwing $$$ down the drain on an un-oiled turbo. I just have a dashboard to fab. and the wastegate controller to mount lastly. I won't be satisfied until I have at least 10 hours on it without any shake down bugs working their way to the surface.
If you want those rights back then start putting the stuff back on your new bike so I can have some comp. Or better yet just stick to the buttsangs and civics and leave the trails to me...Thanx for the smack talk though! I got a good laugh....son... :1

Re: Turbo Banshee is alive!
It's summer man! I'm too busy to worry about getting vids up. I barely have the time to work on it. I end up doing most of my work in the wee hours on the night. Which usually means I can't grind or cut ---- because of the noise. Baby boy's gotta sleep. I'm takin' it slow since i got the boat out for the summer. but all is good my friends!!! it's pretty much done and ready for a good couple hours of tuning. I just haven't had a chance to get on the dyno since everyone else is hoggin' it. Customer cars pay the bills ya know. We just got done squeezing another 78hp out of a guys lt-4 vette....no mods, just tune. When I finish air baggin' the 71' coupe deville that's in my driveway, Then I can move my quad over to the dyno shop. things move slow when i have to work a 12.5hr night at work then come home and do another 6 hrs in the rod shop. Theirs not much time left for the family and my own projects ya know.
Anywho.... have patience. It's coming to a computer near you!

Re: Turbo Banshee is alive!
Answer 1: It doesn't matter. The simple dynamics of a 2 stroke keep most of the charge inside the chamber. See as each exhaust pulse pops out of the port, it travels down the expansion chamber and reverbs back toward the cylinder. Bringing most but not all of the charge heading out, back inside the cumbustion chamber with it before the piston comes back up and closes the port off. Since the one end of the pipe has a 7/8 outlet and the side on the motor has a 2" hole it's much easier to head back into the motor than it is to go out the tail.
BUT... to answer your question more directly... Yes, the charge will blow through the pipe. But that only aids the turbo spooling. Plus the extra fuel that goes with it will help make great boost!
Ever heard of a 6V-92 detroit deisel? It was the biggest 2 stroke ever made. It had a "6-71"( yes the one everyone uses one hotrods) roots style supercharger on the top with twin turbos. And it needed all that just to make it run. And run IT DID! These are the motors you'll find in the tractor pullers that make 5000-10,000HP So don't doubt the 2 strokes for eating boost! They LOVE IT!!!!
Answer 2: The center seal is made from a solid piece of alum (billet) with triple o-rings around it and 2 seals on the bearings inside. The outer seals are kept in place by the case and the main bearings also have seals on them. So.... basically everything is triple sealed. plus you have to look at it like this...
The bottom side of the case has an equal amount of pressure on both sides under boost. Only because of the fact that it a reed valve engine. So it's basically the same as an N/A motor as far as pressure differences between cylinders. The only difference is that the side seals will get the punishment because if I have 20 lbs/ per square inch... there is alot of volume on the underside of the piston.... for arguments sake lets say..... 100 cubic inches. So that would be (100x20psi=2000psi)... So for a split second the side seals will endure a metric ton of force. But since that force has to work it's way through a metal shielded bearing then into the crank seal.... you get my point.
I'm not worried about it. i've personally seen a skidoo mxz 670 running 25psi with all stock internals and it didn't blink an eye. 15 passes down the 1/4 without losing a hundreth of a second or blowing up for that matter.
I've gone to great lengths for the past 3 years building the motor you see in my videos. The inside of that banshee motor might as well be made from kriptonite! lots of custom ---- is in there. plus everything has been ceramic coated/PC-9 coated or hard anodized. I'm willing to bet the bike itself that I could put 40 psi into it before bad things happen. But even then it would probably be a rod failure which I would have wiseco to thank for that
I hope I could answer your question thuroughly enough. I know everyone thinks 2 stroke blow seals out.... yes it happens..... but only to those old shitty arctic cat motors (made by fuji) but those of you out there that are thinking "yeah whatever man".... well.... don't hold your breath!
