Default Turbo B16a

I just installed a turbo on my b16a with 450's and an afc on 7 pounds, its running great accept sometimes when I stop or let it set for a min it smokes.I am running open dp so I get the joy of smelling it and it smells like fuel but its kind of looks like oil smoke? I have put about 150 miles on it and the oil seems to be fine maybe a little useage witch I thought was normal with the turbo? My friend J.Davis (who is doing my tuning when I get OBD1 ecu and adapter harnes!!!) set the afc to run the 450s a lil rich till then so i figure it might be a combonation of both? The only other thing is that the drain line that i had to use due to lack of funds is kind of small!Any way thx for any info or knocks for the afc 450 injectors lol

I'd just switch to a bigger line like a -10 and see what happens. Either that or the turbo is getting too much oil pressure.

That was my other worry but i have no way of checking the oil pressure till next week so.........? I wont be driving it much till then so would the oil backing up or over feeding hurt it till then not pulling boost..unless a mustang rolls up on me i have been waiting along time to put a light blue stripe down the side of one lol

check the pcv valve and replace it or clean it if it's too clogged. a bigger oil line will give more oil pressure so i'd run a -3an or -4an.

the feed line is a 4an its the return line that is small witch i guess might be restricting the the flow ?

Ok lastnight when i got back from a short ride when i let the car run for a min befor shuting it off it smoked like a sob for about a min or 2.I am sure its not the rings the smoke was very heavy and then just stoped.Befor i installed the turbo i checked for shaft play and it did have very slight play in and out but i thought it wouldnt be bad enough to creat a problem, could this be it??

check your charge pipes for oil.

if there's some there, you need a rebuild my friend
