Is the charge tube made of exhaust pipe? If so, I think the aluminization coating on the inside can come off and get sucked into the engine. Can anyone else confirm that? I would just hate to see such a sweet gangster setup die an early death from some stupid ghetto pipe. Turbo Hyundais deserve an honorable by excessive cylinder pressure, not flakey pipes.

These Setup's Make 200bhp @ 1 bar boost on pump gas,not bad for a 1500 12v Sohc...

dammit!

all was running great, and now I'm burning coolant somewhere - either through the turbo seal or through the head gasket. I'll have to have it all compression checked this week.

I came in 4th place in my class this past weekend - .02 behind a miata(3rd place) and only .5 behind first place(a wrx wagon!)

I hope its the turbo not the head gasket. I suppose its a fairly easy fix either way.... Heres a few shots of my setup .....

could prolly get used to the looks of that thing, but damn its a hyundai, isnt it the same company as kia? I remember ads saying that if you bought one of they're vans, they give you a rio for free, lol. you just know ----'s cheap when you buy 1 and get 1 free, especially with cars!
