he heh...um...nowhere right now. I threw an air filter on the end of it after taking these pics, even though it was fun hearing it spool with no filter on the end that had to come to an end.

As far as the stiffness of the springs I'm not sure what they are, they're K-Sport coilovers though I do know that. The guy I got them from mentioned something about the front being 5K and the rear being 7K(or vice versa), and he also gave me a set of 3's with them, I think that's what I remember him saying anyhow. I'm not fully up on the coilover stuff quite yet, I'm just getting the hang of tuning them to my liking. I do know they've been awesome for the car and it hardly ever understeers.(I've actualy been able to kick out the tail a little bit once or twice last year going through a fast slolum)

I can swap out the T15 to a T25 very easily after everything else is in place, the only issue becomes space under the hood. There's not much room right now between the turbo and the radiator so I need to get something slimmer and also swap out the stock fan for a slim one.

I'll definetly update with some more pictures as I get them this week and this weekend at the race.

Looks good man...Nice work to put the turbo Scoupe hardware to use, where'd you find that stuff at?? I saw one of those cars in the autotrader recently, was a good lookin' car and had alot of performance upgrades...Alot of ppl here just can't believe it, but they actually do some pretty awesome stuff with the hyundai cars over in Australia and stuff...At one time I had a 94 Elantra GLS that had what looked to be VERY similiar to the 4g63 engine in it...I wish I would've known about homemade turbo setups back then, BUT 97 was a long time ago...

you are correct about the 4g63 - Hyundai used to use mitsubishi engines in their older cars, somewhere pre 94ish. The 4g63T elantra/sonata is an extremely popular swap and they turn out stupid fast, especially if you put it into the excel hatchback! Here's an example of one, look australianish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EUs1rTBpgo
Somewhere out there(streetfire maybe) there is a vidro of an excel hatchback with this motor against a dodge SRT-10.

I live in Barre and work in Waterbury.

burkej62 - if and when this motor goes to hell, the beta swap is the next step for this car. I just wanted to have some fun with boost first, and as much as this project was a little but out of my hands, I was able to do most of it myself whereas the beta would be almost 100% done by someone else.
