Does anyone know what kind of turbo this is and or what it can do?!

it's a Garret/Airesearch snail.... 50 trim on the compressor, and 1.16? on the exhaust means (and correct me if i'm wrong) that it would take way to long for the turbine to spool up on a typical 1.6 - 1.8 engine... the compressor is fine, but the turbine is way to ------- big.... IMO.
what would this be going into?
