tuning+multiple boost settings...
so i was wondering how a car would be tuned if they basically wanted to run 3 diff boost "psi" settings.
first setting would be simply running off the wastegate "turning off boost controller, probably a 10psi spring"
second would be low boost on a greddy boost controller "probably 16 psi"
third would be high boost on same controller "probably 20+psi"
now, if some-1 wanted to be able to change between all 3 at any given point without any problems would they have to have the car tuned for each setting or would they simply tune it to the best of their ability on the high boost setting and then they would be able to run anything from 1-high boost? Basically just wanting to know how they go about that. Would be a built street car but would be switching between wastegate/low/high quite often. Just want to get all the info on it and see what would need to be done or if its as simple as tuning to the high boost option and then being able to do anything under that psi level that was chosen for high boost
for reference would be usuing hondata+greddy profec+tial wastegate w/10psi spring
and as far as power, running off the wastegate would produce around 300whp, low boost would be around 375whp, high boost would be as much as possible without needing race gas or above 93 octane to hender performance or cause detonation "hopefully at least 425whp, not sure how much can be had and still be safe with regular 93 octane"
