That's why I love these T3's... This boat comes out of the hole HARD. I would like to keep it this way but some more top end power would be nice.... Maybe I will just start with changing the jet drive's impeller as I know it is to small.

Good idea, check ontop of the pump tag on the handhole cover and see what kind it is, it should say impeller size as well, and checking your impeller to wearing clearance is crucial, should be around 0.040", any larger the impeller is going to spin high RPM, and make the water more turbulent compared to a tighter clearance.
