Default TT rods????

Has anybody here ever had or heard of any problems with them?? They look like a really good deal. I am just curious cause they are rated better than eagles hp wise. i am trying to hit 650 and it says that it will hold them with the arp bolt upgrade.

so I am just curious let me know!!!!

B series or D, I mean they should work just fine with some nice bearings in, and on a good tune if your shooting for that kinda power but i would'nt push em too hard. Im goin' for around 550 on my TT rods but im building a D16A6.

Once the parts start rolling in I will make a here is my build thread with pics. here is a little of the list that is boiling in my mind

IB 84mm king stage 2 sleeves GSR
PNP B16 head
sc63 turbo
9:5:1 or 10:0:1 pistons?
tt rods

That is just a little bit of the setup so that is shy I am trying to find a decent priced rod that is going to be able to handle some power. The sleeves alone were $1060. But in my opinion worth every penny!!!

Any other users have anything to add, heard of any problems, what is the highest hp you have seen someone push out on these rods.

I saw quite a bit of differance between the tt and eagles. Im not afraid to use the tt's or anything but If I was going all out with a sleeved block and all I would go with the eagles. My biggest problem with the tt's is the smaller arp's they use.

yeah cash flow got lower than was expected.

specialy sice that ---- ripped me off for quite a pretty penny on H-T!!!

Plus I wouldnt call it skimping since it say that the TT rods can handle the power that I want if I upgrade the rod bolts.
