Hey im going to be boostin my z6 that has 95k miles its 5spd and doesent grind any gears heres my setup!

ihi rhb5
water and oil cooled
intercooler
fmu 12:1
at 5-6 psi of boost

Ive heard though that my transmission is going to go fast when I turbocharge it! Is this true or do you think it will last? Have yall had any problems with the transmission going! And would yall recommend me getting a new flywheel and clutch. Thanks for any help!

 

Your transmission will be fine. Your stock clutch will go shortly after boosting. It is not necessary to upgrade the flywheel, but the clutch is. You could boost on the stock clutch for a while, but be prepared for it to go out.
