Yea, it makes sense. I tried the spark plug wire thing, but it didnt change anything... WHICH ALSO made me feel better! lol.

That's awesome!

Nothing like the feeling of thinking you are going to have to rip the motor apart and then finding out that it was something small and simple all along. That's a much better feeling than the realization that the motor has to come out. lol

That's actually a pretty common thing on LS heads. I usually re-check valve lash clearances after a couple hundred miles or so...the constant heating up and cooling down on new builds tends to loosen things. Once you've gotten a few thousand miles on the clock they should stay put, but still never hurts to check them every once and a while.

my did the same thing when i bought it i think its a valve but i didnt fix it a friend of the family did

yeah its common for nonvtec heads... you have to tighten the F#$% out of em to keep em from coming loose. i actually had one come completely off once (thank god it landed in a corner and didnt hurt anything).

oh and adding cams makes it worse.
