+2, theres no indentions where the metal was deformed, one crimp at a time. unless they had a wicked sweet setup on an english wheel.

i wonder if similar could be acomplished with one of those exhaust tubing expanders wiht ---- welded on. like the ones that ------ when you tighten them down.

 

you need the mating opposite side.

 

use a red scuff wheel on an angle grinder and clean up doo-doo scratches.....nice work....i've been wantin to do this...

 

I kept blowing a coupler too, except I cannot do that due to using thick 2 1/4 exhaust mandrel bends so I just busted out the welder and ran a bead. Works just as good, and you don't see it. Totally homemade.
