Yeah it still spins like its brand new. I took the turbo setup off my car in waiting for the arrival of a new t25. I checked the oil return too and thats not it. I actually took the oil return off and put a pan underneath it to catch the oil and it still smoked like hell. I'm talking the neighbors think my house is on fire type ----. It's definetly the turbo though because I put the stock manifold on and tested it and there was no smoke (whew..thought it might have been a ring or something) Well I am going to rip the turbo apart tomarrow and see if I can see anything going on. Any suggestions are welcome.

 

OUCH... I've never seen that much oil either.

Maybe when the return line was ripped, all that pressure from the supply let loose.. I can't say for sure.

 

Well turns out the oil line was plugged and thats what made the oil pour out like that. Fixed that but the turbo still spits out a ton of smoke. The oil seals are just bad. ----, if I felt like smoking everything up when I drive it would be ok. Still boosts like hell and doesnt have any play. Hey shortys did you still want this turbo as a core? let me know buddy
