well i was on my way to class and stopped by the gas station to put in gas. and so i pump it and whatever. and i go down the street after that and i come to a light. and smoke is coming from my hood. so i chill for a lil bit and was like oh its okay it usually does this.( ehh i know its not normal but u know). but it didnt stop so i was like ---- what the ---- is wrong with this ----. i didnt push it all day. and so i pull into a parking lot and i pop my hood to see smoke coming out of my breather filter. it just constantly smokes. not heavily but its coming out. what the ---- is wrong with my car

mine does that too, our engines are probably both fucked, we better start LS/VTEC projects, oh wait, I already did.

ehh im not to fond of and ls/vtec. id rather go with a straight ls or a gsr motor. or an h22. but as of right now. i have a money issue. haha but my bro did tell me he'd by me a new motor. well another sohc. ehh. i told him to by me an h since im moving up to live with him in minnesota. and he wants me to drive over there. but the thing is the car drives and feels the same when i get on it. what do u guys think it is

How is the oil pressure on your car? Everything else within the norm (temp, timing, oil level)? Do a compression check when you get a chance to tell you some things.

I have a 95 civic EX that I will be parting out soon, 108k miles automatic.. let me know if you need anything.

i dont know about oil pressure. i didnt get a chance to buy another ss line to bring my t fitting and needle valve to the fire wall. so oil pressure. i dont know. everything else is normal. and it doesnt happen right away. i have to drive for a good ten mins. then it'll start smoking. yeah i need to do that. if this motor is fucked. i wont be boosted for a while. next setup will probably be built ls or gsr turbo. or maybe an all motor R. the smoke is white. mos def its oil. you can smell that ---- burning probably my ring lands ehh

does anyone even have a clue what im talking aboutheh...theres like smoke coming out of my breahter filter and out of the back of my block. i think its that black canister on the back. theres smoke coming out of there. it doesnt start right away. just after about 10 mins of driving. all the power is still there. what can it be?

im pretty sure thats blow by, as in when your engine gets going and the oil gets flowing well, oil is blowing by your rings and out your exhaust and everywhere else...

oh so in other words my motor needs a rebuildi figured it was blow by. but ---- it seems like my oil is heating up a lot and i was thinking maybe thats why its smoking. sometimes it wont even come out of my exhaust. it just comes out of the valve cover. since its like almost 100 degree's here in cali. and plus is going through the turbo. and the oil is heating up pretty good. u think that could be why its smoking cause my car gets hot too. i hate cali. well atleast where im at. its too ------- hot. minnesota is gonna be perfect for turbo. cold air. dont know about the elevation there though. but its always cold. well my brother says it gets hot sometimes i said how hot he said 60 degree's. i was like ---- thats still cold. but yeah. i think im just gonna go pick up a new motor and slang my turbo kit

Is your pvc system connected? Or do you just have one of those cheap breather filters hanging off the valve cover? Hook it back up if it isn't, might fix the problem.. oh yeah, replace the pvc valve while u are at it.
