Default Teach me to calculate the right turbo?

I've read the sticky a million times, and tried to follow it. I end up with too many numbers around the temperature section. I just don't get it.

The Rio will tune itself off the MAF and O2 sensors up to 7lbs of boost. Anything more and it shuts down. Also, if it detects more than 25% extra fuel flow, it'll gimp out. So basically, the stock setup is 0lbs of boost on 15# injectors. I've already got the 25% increased injectors, some 19#'ers borrowed from a 5.0L GT Mustang, circa 1991. It's been tried and tested, and the ECU can handle 7PSI just fine.

This is where picking my turbo comes into play.

The goal of this setup is to get more power on the stock internals, stock ecu. Ultimately I would like to build my system to spool a turbo quickly (6000 RPM redline.) I'd like for the turbo to be fairly efficient at 7PSI, but be able to produce more power later, once I get the MS built and installed. If that's not possible, then for now, a cheap turbo that is effiecient at 7PSI and quick to spool will be fine. I can always upgrade the turbo, when it's time to get a standalone and more fuel anyways.

So the question! What the hell turbo will spool by 2 grand on a 1.5L, dual cam motor? Components of the turbo system will be a log manifold, 2G DSM sidemount, 1G DSM BoV, and 19# injectors tuned by the OEM ECU. Before you flame me on not running any EMS, this isn't forever. The stock ECU can handle 7PSI, albeit not wonderfully, but safely. The EMS is coming, but I wanna see the difference.

So, I'm not asking you to link me to the turbo I should buy, but teach me how to figure it out myself. Although, suggestions are welcomed, even encouraged

I am suggesting a GARRETT T3 50 trim 0.48/0.42 a/r upgraded with the stage 1½ turbine wheel. this one will kick in very early and will sustain over 210 HP.
You can also make it t3 60 trim 0.60 a/r if you want to hit 250+ HP (but will spool up slightly slower)

Yes, they do and I can tell you that he's very good guy to work with and he's rebuilding my turbo this summer.

I don'T "carry" this turbo but i have the parts to build one. You will not find it anywhere, not even on our website. It's a custom order. not the kind of turbo that could be pumped out with significant volume mostly because that turbine wheel is rare.
