TE04H

This is the place for information on Homemadeturbo setups, for sure.... My question is for anyone who knows this turbo (Mitsu TE04H, off a Daytona.), can you please show me which are the coolant drain/fill, and the oil in and oil out. I THINK 1 is coolant in, 2 coolant out, 3 oil in, 4 oil out...

Thanks,
Dan

Re: TE04H

1 should be oil feed, 2 oil drain. (oil drain has to be facing straight down, or very close to it)
3, 4 coolant, and it does not matter which way it flows.

An easy way to tell is if you can see the shaft in one of the holes, oil should be in there O0

Re: TE04H

the oil outlet should actually have bolt holes on the side of it to bolt a flange on

that turbo is going to suck anyways, i hated mine on a stock a6. power falls off at about 6k

The ones with the brass fittings are coolant lines I believe, so chalk up my vote to that and the oil feed is what is facing toward us.

Re: TE04H

sounds good boys, i agree the brass is coolant and the hole facing us is oil in (they have a shot of it in the "turbo Projects" section). I am running this little guy on a small engine, D15B2 with MPFI swap... so they should go well together. gonna be a kick ass DD.
