Hi guys, i'm planning on boosting this turbo 18psi on a 1.6L SOHC Engine.

Any Idea on how much power I can gain. Like how many extra wheel horses I could get?

Management will be the AFC Hack, 430cc Injectors of a Supra MKII.

 

18 psi .
You will get a CEL before you reach that...the highest I've boosted with the HACK was 1 bar, and that was the el cheapo hack.
I don't think you can boost 18 psi with the hack

 

I see, how does it feel boosting 1 bar?
Are you using the same turbo?

 

i've boosted 12psi daily on that turbo and it is good. it's efficiency dies at about 14/15psi...you won't get 18psi out of it in a good way.

how much whp did you gain from it on 15psi?

 

My guess would be 230 whp at 15 psi pending on altitude.

 

That would be sweet numbers, i'm aiming only 200whp

 

I ran another turbo a Toyota CT20.
when it hit 15 psi it was a monster...torque steer etc..
I was running it on a D15...engine is still running

 

i'm running a ct20 right now, but i'm not to happy about the lag, will try this turbo out, if the ct20 turns out to be better, i'll swap it out again...

What kinda engine is the CT20 on
Cause the turbine is small, but the compressor is the same size as a T3 42/48...it's supposed to spool faster than a T3 42/48
