TD04HL-13G opinion on a stock d16z6
Hey guys, just picking you're brains with using this turbo on a stock d16z6. Would it handle high rpms? I'm looking at making about 210 hp. I believe it's off a Volvo V70, not sure.
You will make 210whp just fine with that snail, and it'll spool up nice. If you're running under 15psi it'll support that in higher rpm ranges too. It may fall off a little, but just turn the boost up a little to compensate ahaha

I used the td04-13g off an auto eclipse on a y8 in a crx for about a year. Spooled very early (10 psi by 3200-3400 tops) but fell of around 6000. Very strong little turbo though for the street. Ran 8.43@84ish in the 1/8 on slicks @10psi.
Hummm, i currenlty has a 1.8L turbo, K03, I can't find much on it, except i have been told that volkswagons aren't high reving engines and that this turbo wouldn't last very long with a Honda engine. Would anybody know at what rpm approx. would this little turbo fall off
It a t3 flange on the volvo 13g.You need a hf/t3 adapter.I have had 2 now a tdo4h 15g and a 13 g.On a d16y8 motor they seem to spool around 2000 all the way to 8000rpms.So yeah it will handle high rpms.If your reving it higher than 8000 without the head being built, shame on you.The z6 block and head are just the same, except the y8 head has closed chambers.
d16z6/125hp d16y8/127 So it should run the same.
