TD04H Blues

I have a TD04H and I was wanting to build my engine and use ZDYNE management, and I was wondering if the turbo in question will keep it pumping at 15psi.

my freind had a 91 laser rs (awd turbo) and he used to run it at 17 psi and it pulled prett damn hard. so it can be done. i would get a bigger turbo and run less boost(like a 16g)

td04 are really only good up to 15 psi. after that you are just heating up the charge too much. make sure you are running a fmic and btm if you want to boost that much.

If the laser was 5 speed then it had a TD05H, which is a bigger turbo, only autos had the td04 for awd

this may be too much of a wierd question, but what would be a direct bolt-up in place of my TD04H?
I want a bigger turbo, but I don't want another manifold.

are you sure? i was under the impression that the 1g 5 spd GST/GSX's came w/ 14b's...and the auto's came w/ TD05H-13b's...

td05 would be the upgrade.
