Hello, New guy here.

I swear I searched a bunch before asking this.

I bought a turbo that I was told was a 14G, but the castings on the turbo say tc05-12A. DOes anyone know if this is a 14G? IF so where can I get more infor on it. If it is not a 14g, what is it? I am planning on putting it on a browntop ZC that is going into my 86 crxSI. The heads are reworked and once I'm done with the combustion chambers, the compression should be around 8.9-9.1. I am not planning on running more that 8 PSI on this motor. I am not looking for all out hp, just a strong daily driver that gets respecable MPG. This turbo looks tiny. Will it give me enough air to make 170-180 HP? I would rather spool quickand get good numbers, than get top numbers but have lots of lag. Any help would be great. THank you

 

I believe you'll find that turbo on non-intercooled conquests and starions

 

You read what the turbo is, it's a 12A. Like XSubSailor said, they came stock on the Starion's/Conquests.
