t88 turbo?

My friend just gave me a turbo from his 83 supra and says it's a t88... What is this thing exactly capable of? it's huge for a turbo and really heavy... Any good applications for it?

T88's are huge, and easily capable of over 600hp. They are used mainly for heavily modified cars.

If its in good shape, it's easily worth 1000 bucks.
