Default obd2 down-pipe question

I have a 97 acura integra ls which has an obd2 system. If I was to customize my downpipe, would I also have to make an inlet for the o2 sensor (sensor that is on the downpipe)?

On OBD2, (on hondas) you will need a O2 sensor 1 before the cat, and one after the cat. Where you put them is up to you.
