you using an HF manifold?
does the wastegate actuator attach to the back of the compressor housing or on the front?

take off the actuator and mount the manifold/turbo. find where the wastegate will not touch anything and figure out how to mount it. you may have to make a bracket or bend the mounting lip. for the rod, you will probably have to attach a longer rod and bend it to the flapper.

Goto the FAQ and read up on changing the wastegate out for a carb spring, might be your only choice.

Dont know how much this will help you. But I heard slammdsol used 2 gaskets instead of one. Dont know. I'm guessing rotating the housing wont help?
