forget the damn 2 1/4" exhaust. ditch it and go at least 2 1/2" with mandrel bends or get an e-cutout.
for b16crxt, full boost on 5th should be instant. check out that stupid hissy noise from your BOV. |
Re: T3 .48/.60 spool up on stock B16A
i just moved from minnesota to wyoming, and w/ the ------- elevation up here and because i havn't re-tuned it yet, i can't get that fucker to spool up until 5500. :'(

pretty sure that some bov's stay a lil open at idle and close as soon as you give it gas

Re: T3 .48/.60 spool up on stock B16A
If you're running the SSAC Tial knock-off w/g make sure you didn't forget to put that metal ring in when you installed the w/g...Leaving it out causes an exhuast leak past the w/g and slowed boost response/spool.

Re: T3 .48/.60 spool up on stock B16A
hmn.. you got a leak somewhere. i got the same turbo on my LS. and it starts spooling at around 2700-2800. and full boost around 3200-3300

Re: T3 .48/.60 spool up on stock B16A
well, a b18 should spool it a little quicker. We arent that much apart. Do me a favor and get on the highway in 5th at like 3.5-4 grand and floor it. tell me exactly how your boost gauge acts. Does it jump up to a boost level then build?
Thanks |
