the stock actuator is set at 8 psi. on a dsm it is 10-12 psi because it has an electronic boost controller or somethin on it. but if u want to lower it below 8, u could legnthen the actuator arm, but it will spool slow.

^^^word. If you want lower boost you're better off buying an actuator with a lower setting to avoid massive gains in spool time.

the stock T25 wastegate is set at about 12psi. you'll need to either thread the arm so that you can lengthen it, or take the actuator apart and replace the spring with a softer one.

and before poeple say that i must have gotten a messed-up actuator, i tried THREE of them, all with the same result.

my t25 was about 12 stock and even with a lengthened actuator it spools fully at 2k RPMs and makes 8psi to redline. bitches.

What psi did you lower it to? and do you have a pic of how you lowerd it.

Also, how in the world do you open the actuator to put a new spring in?

you cut it open at the crimp, replace the spring, rtv it to seal it, then make a clamp to hold it all together
