So I got a version one adjustable hks from my buddy and took it apart. These models are adjustable, but the problem is that they are too firm to begin with. So I cut the spring down so its softer, and can adjust firmer if need be. Im using my version 2 which I got apart, the cut spring and adjustable version one face, and also regreased it which I know mine was sticking a bit as it was used. Works flawlessly now with no surge, I may even need to firm it up a bit which I can do now that the spring is softer.
