And if hairspray doesn't do it, go to home depot and pick up some 3M Super 90 spray adhesive. It's in the paint department and I doubt you'd even need clamps anymore.

Hairspray works. Well, on bicycle handlebars it does atleast. Goes on easy then stays on tight. I see alot of people blow chargepiping. I have yet too. God bless, I guess.

the best solution besides welding is to take it to a metal fab shop and get them to roll a bead if they want too much get your own roller http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...1&keyword=bead

Some of the most effective solutions are always some of the weirdest... but the weirder the better. I had a dvd that wouldnt play and my buddy told me to use toothpaste on it, sure enough it worked... musta been the added tarter control

anyway, if toothpaste can fix a dvd, then hair spray will take care of your ic pipe!!
yah, the flouride fixes the relatively deep scratches even on dvd, glasses etc
I'm not sure if hair spray will hold under heat, pressure and vibration under the hood... get that thing bead rolled!!!
hair spray may work

Automotive goop.
Very, very tacky. Works very good on TB/Carbs & IC's. Not always so good on the compressor. If the compressor tends to get very hot, the goop won't always hold.
