needs 4 more cyclinders, 1 more turbo and about 3000cc more,
we all know the bigger the engine the more potential to make more power!!!

ever consider a engine transplant

just my opinion...

Why not? Probably because of the flood newbs? or because of you think that my new setup will be stupid?

Yeah the alarm system will be the first thing going on it when I get it running. I think a pager alarm would be good. I really don't know. I have never bought one.

Yes it does. The only problem that you have with that is that you won't have a dipstick because the dipstick on the Y8 is on the oil pump and I have a z6 pump.

Keep it simple. A simple setup thats put together right will get you a long way.

Just stick with a z6. The "headflow" that you speak of between the two is minimul, and they both have their drawbacks as well. Only thing that people gasp in awe about on y8 heads is the combustion chamber design, which is pretty much identical to a gsr combustion chamber, built to aid in proper fuel burn and better quench. Z6 heads typicly have a better cfm rate, due to the shape of the ports stretching into the bowls. Either way, each is offset by differences that pretty much makes them just as good as the other. And usually z6's are cheaper and more plentiful, at least where I live.
