standard length rods or fjt custom lengths
I'm doing the typical vitara setup with an hx35 in the crx. I've had the custom length rods since last feb but the build had to be put on hold. Everything is finally a go again but I find myself second guessing the rods. Whats everyones take on the bump in compression? Good or leave it low to allow more boost? I'm leaning more and more toward this being less of a street car and more for drag even though I will drive it to and from the track. Any opinions are appreciated.

Depending on your block/head combo, if I remember right your compression with the FJT's will still be in the mid-low 8:1s. There's nothing not boost friendly about that.
Run what you got.
Run what you got.

I'm using a z6 block and head. I'm pretty hard on stuff so I think the lower cr would last me longer. But I'm still not sure what to do. Thanks for your input. Anyone else??

That's ****. Standard length rods you'll be sitting at 7.5:1. You don't have to have excessively low compression ratio to run nog levels of boost.

Cool cool. I plan on pushing it to try to get the elusive 400hp mark . I want to get in the 6's at the local 1/8th mile track. Still not sure what i'll go with in the end.
