Stacking head gaskets ?
I know this sounds dumb, but what's to stop someone from stacking two stock 0.043 composite gaskets ? To make a 0.086 thickness gasket ? I'm only asking b/c my friend is leaning away from the mini-me and more towards a HMT, and I could maybe steal the head from him b/c he doesn't intend on using it. But I don't like the sound of 10.8 to 1 compression... Let me know why this sounds dumb, but at the same time sounds like it would work...

Hahaha.. 10.8:1? Sounds a bit high for a mini-me. Did you have it tested and got that?
The most I have seen out of a mini-me is 10.5, mine was 10.2.
Anyway.. As long as your parts are good to start with, you can boost a mini. There is one in the Turbo Projects page. Check it out.

My stock block has been though 9 bottles of nitrous and has 155,000 miles on it... I made a ruff estimate of 10.8/1, but I guess 10.2 isn't that bad, I'm not sure if I'm going to even go though the trouble of the mini-me. The head is a 92-95 D16Z6 head, I'm not even sure if it would be worth the time...

I got some nice runs with my N/A mini.. fastest time was 15.3 with a bent frame. My buddies mini with a Y8 head and intake manifold (mine was the Z6) was 14.8.. all motor..
Turbo that, and you're easily breaking into the 13s. Just make sure you have good engine mangement.
The Z6 head is sort of pain. At least with the dizzy. If you had a Y8 head, then you wouldn't have to modify your dizzy ears to fit. Oh well..
