Default SRP Manual Boost Controller

I'm having some issues with my 3$ boost controller

I have my boost controller installed on my car, but it is not letting me adjust the boost any. Stock boost is around 6-7 PSI. I am trying to up the boost some, to 12-14 PSI. I'm turning the **** to increase the boost but it wont increase at all?

I am thinking I may not have the internals in the MBC in the right order. Right now I have the spring in, then the ball, and then screw the adjustment **** on. I did some looking/searching and someone said it should be the other way around. Ball, spring, adjustment ****.

Well this afternoon I tried it that way, and the boost just spikes to 15+ PSI, which isn't any fun because my car hits fuel cut at that PSI. What happens when I put the ball in first, it just blocks off the barb and keeps the WG closed.

I'm not sure whats wrong with it, anyone else have any problems like this?

Wrong. Ball, spring, adjuster. The ball acts as the sealing element.

Then you have it screwed in too far or you need to cut the spring a bit.

Make sure you have it hooked up correctly too. Boost source should be pushing AGAINST the ball.

Switched it back around like you guys suggested, and screwed it out more, and it was doing better so I think I got it sorted out, I have the knockoff RFL BOV and its not hooked to a vacuum so it was starting to squeel towards 14 psi.. Gotta get that thing fully installed..
